What We Offer
Black trans and women’s histories,
Support collective healing
Healing Through History uses performing arts, media, and storytelling to reclaim narratives, preserve Black trans and women’s histories, and support collective healing.
Components include:
-
Performing arts and cultural production
-
Media storytelling and documentation
-
Healing Through HERstory support groups
-
Intergenerational dialogue and memory-keeping

The Problem
Systematic Erasure,
Trauma
-
Black trans women’s histories are systematically erased or reduced to trauma.
-
Lack of representation fuels isolation, internalized harm, and public misunderstanding.
-
Few healing spaces exist that honor joy, creativity, and legacy alongside grief.

The Solution
Identity Affirmation, Cultural Continuity
We center art and story as tools for survival, resistance, and transformation. By reclaiming narrative power, we support identity affirmation, community connection, and cultural continuity.
